This fossil is a replace remain fossil because it does not show it whole body and head preserved in anything. So scientist would make a mold of what they think the fossil would look like if still alive or in it;s original condition.

This is a fossil is a Original Remain fossil because it has a spider, who has been preserved in amber at the time it died or in-cased in amber .

Science Work

Layer 3 is on top, then layer 1, then layer 6, then layer 4, than layer 5, and layer 2 is last.

Because of the principle of superposition I can tell that layer 6 is older than layer 1.

Layer 3 is the youngest because it follow the principle of cross-cutting by cutting through layer 1,6,2,and a bit of 4.

I know layer 1 is the second youngest because it follow the principle of superposition.

Layer 4 is the third oldest because it has less embedded fragments of layer 2 than layer 5 and layer 6 has no embedded fragments of layer 2.

Layer 5 is the second oldest in my point of view because it has more embedded fragments of layer 2 than layer 4.

Layer 2 is at the bottom because in the picture it is shown at the bottom and it follows the principle of superposition and embedded fragments.
